Sahjani Shiksha Kendra focuses on empowering women and adolescent girls through literacy and education. This is the aim and goal of SSK. It opens the way for the social change.

SSK believes that education is a right and women have been deprived from it for a longer time. Hence, to expect women’s  empowerment without education and literacy would an incomplete process.

Literacy and Education not only mean to read and write and being able to do daily chores, It helps in understanding and overcoming the truths of your life. Therefore SSK links literacy and education to the reality of the lives of women and adolescents girls. SSK is a grassroot organisation which not only works with local women but also works extensively on social and local issues.
